Artist management and representation: 3–5 years including a six-month trial. Venue and event-centre engagement: 12 months including a six-month trial. Individual performances and client bookings use separate event orders.

Templates require completed parties, jurisdiction, schedules and signatures. A request does not execute an agreement.

Live public event ticket-sales addendum

Live public event ticket-sales royalty / bonus: 10% of ticket sales for each live public event, on behalf of the MC and services. This fee is separate from and additional to all other expenditures, charges and operational expenses. The event agreement identifies the recipient, ticket-sales calculation basis, reporting and payment dates.

Include this updated term in each applicable event order and in downloaded booking or venue agreements before signing.

Artist endorsements, brand promotions and commercial opportunities

Talent Search artists and performers, especially competition winners, may be available for endorsement contracts, brand promotional campaigns, commercial merchandising, and other marketing, media and communications engagements.

DMC Communications can arrange and manage these engagements for and on behalf of an artist under an agreed representation mandate, working with sponsors, participating producers and affiliate media agencies that provide campaign, production and promotional services. Artists and industry partners are invited to propose suitable collaborations and artist-package offers.

Each engagement requires the artist’s approval and a separate written contract identifying the services, approved brands and uses, fees or royalties, rights, duration, territory, approvals and any exclusivity. Competition participation or winning does not automatically authorize an endorsement, merchandising use or agency representation, and no commercial contract is guaranteed. Existing artist commitments and intellectual property rights remain respected.

Proposed competition reservation and first-option terms

RIDM proposes that all participating performing artists be reserved for consideration for the competition’s prize contract and recording opportunity, subject to eligibility, selection and a separate signed agreement. Participation does not guarantee a prize, recording contract or label placement.

For applicants who enter without an existing contract, the proposed participation agreement would require them to defer entering new management or promotional contracts until their competition has concluded, so RIDM can exercise an agreed first option to negotiate production, recording and label arrangements. Applicants with existing commitments must disclose them; these terms do not override existing agreements.

Proposed terms — pending legal review and explicit artist acceptance. Before these conditions become entry requirements, a written agreement must identify the contracting parties, covered services and rights, competition end date, a fixed first-option deadline, how an offer is made and accepted, and when the restriction expires. No indefinite restriction or automatic transfer of rights is created by an application, fee payment or this notice. Any extended restriction requires a separately signed agreement.

Your intellectual property and promotional permission

Merchandising and commercial licensing: full merchandising rights are available only under a separate, expressly accepted license identifying the approved footage, images, recordings, artist name or likeness, merchandise and products, territories, duration, permitted distributors, approvals, royalties or other compensation, accounting and termination terms. This submission permission alone does not authorize selling an artist’s recordings or placing their work or likeness on merchandise.

Editing and promotional use must respect applicable moral rights and must not misrepresent an artist’s endorsement or distort their work in a manner prejudicial to their honour or reputation. No blanket waiver of moral rights is requested. Applicants under the age of legal capacity require appropriate parent or guardian authorization and any other approvals required locally.

Submitted footage, recordings, photographs, images, music and other audio remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Submission does not transfer copyright or ownership to RIDM, DMC or Global Exchange.

For new submissions, the applicant grants RIDM and DMC a non-exclusive permission to copy, host, publish, broadcast, display, perform and edit the submitted material into promotional recordings, clips and graphics in connection with the RIDM Entertainment Talent Show, its artist packages, related products and associated promotions, including the Global Exchange, YouTube, TikTok and other campaign channels. This permission covers these promotional uses; any separate commercial release, exclusive rights or label agreement requires a separate written agreement.

Applicants must own the material or hold all necessary permissions, including those for music, images and other people appearing in it. Credit the artist where practicable. Existing submissions remain governed by the permissions accepted when submitted; broader uses require renewed permission.
