- Artist application: CAD $20 per application.
- Participating venue: CAD $500 per audition event.
- Venue hosting a live event: an additional CAD $1,500. Together with the $500 venue participation fee, this totals CAD $2,000 for the hosting venue.
The $500 and $1,500 charges are venue charges, not artist application fees. Individual performer fees, venue event fees and consumption commitments are recorded separately.
Restaurant, bar & entertainment-facility participation
DMC Communications / RIDM Entertainment manages productions, live entertainment and venue promotions for Earthman Herbals and other participating entities.
- The Fifth Element Kitchen — cooking shows, chef cook-offs and participating restaurant features.

- Karaoke venue participation — competitor nights, guest performers and venue teams.
- Round-robin entertainment bars and restaurants — host and visit participating facilities within the agreed rotation.

- Talent-show venue promotions and live auditions — host approved applicants and scheduled talent-show events.

These are charges to participating venues. The individual artist application fee remains CAD $20; karaoke entry fees remain separate. The weekly group consumption commitment and agreed 10% promotional advertising charge are also accounted for separately. The event schedule identifies the event type, venue, date and payment arrangements.

Our event management service covers planning, ordering, booking and reserving, event administration, ticketing, hosting, presenting and managing the event, plus post-event promotion.
Your engagement contract specifies the services, deliverables and responsibilities for your event, including performers, venues and production requirements.

RIDM Promotions: 10% Promotional Advertising Charges. RIDM Promotions receives 10% Promotional Advertising Charges for each event night, calculated on the venue’s bar revenue or ticket-sales revenue where applicable, as specified in the event agreement. Where both categories are included, the agreement identifies them separately and the same sale is counted once. This is the same 10% promotional advertising charge, not an additional duplicate ticket-sales charge. Venue booking instalments, participant registration fees and the weekly group contribution are accounted for separately.
The final quote and production contract reflect the event size, venue, performers, equipment, broadcast requirements and agreed services. Requested services and dates are reviewed before an engagement is confirmed.
Amounts are currently displayed in CAD pending currency confirmation. Submitting a request does not make a payment.
Toronto bar and venue team circle
Submit your karaoke night and team for the weekly Thursday or Sunday round-robin. Artist application: CAD $20. Participating venue: CAD $500 per audition event. A venue hosting a live event pays an additional CAD $1,500, bringing its venue total to CAD $2,000; the additional hosting payment is due one day before the live event. Karaoke registration: CAD $20; Talent Search auditioners: CAD $20 per entry. The group collectively prepays CAD $500 weekly for consumption; reservations and payment confirmations are due Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. Toronto time.
